GOOD FOOD-2

Couple of weeks ago I wrote a blog post about how good it is to spend a good enough time on the Gods word. Here is the post.

Today I would like to lay emphases on how time is not t he determinant factor of whether we actually get the word or not. As good as it is to spend a good enough time on the word, sometimes life doesn’t make that happen at a stretch. We get occupied with work, schooling, family, and other activities that are very essential to our lives. However, a good justice can be done to studying the word even in a short time. So I like to see this as the time difference in time taken to prepare noodles and that used to prepare pounded yam and egusi like I wrote (in the previous post on good food) here.

David in the bible said he praised God 7 different times during the day. As much as he knew that he was necessary to praise God, he did not ignore the other responsibilities he had to lead his family and the nation of Israel.

Psalm 119:164- Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

The ability of recognise the times and adjust as such will allow effectiveness our growth and walk with God.
Do have a great week ahead.

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through.

Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. I imagine she had…

FOCUS N or P

I’m sure you are wondering by now, what does focus N or P mean?
Yeah, its worth the think. I’m sure you are familiar with the way a camera works, at least to some extent. The android phone/iPhone users can own this complement. You’ld often realize that some pictures don’t come out ‘fine’ or clear because whoever was behind the phone did not focus it right. Having seen the picture, you be like ‘omg this picture is blurry’. How many have friends who take blurry pictures (winks.)- this is by the way.(I do that sometimes). Youl’d realize that one or two taps on your android phone makes the image much clearer.
For my photographer folks, a gentle turn of that Nickon D3300’s focus ring  and or zoom ring would give a perfect picture.
Just like a camera can produce both positive and negative images, so also our minds, based on our focus.

In Numbers 13:30-31, Caleb and Joshua happen to bring back a good report as compared to the report of the other representatives that were told to go spy the…
